The Martha Stewart Show: Leaf-Decorated Vases February 2008
New York City floral designer Oscar Mora joins Martha to demonstrate techniques for decorating vases with leaves.
Give your vases a one-of-a-kind look by decorating the inside of them using tropical leaves. Anthurium leaves are perfect for Valentine's Day because they look just like a heart. Banana and calathea leaves work beautifully on the inside of the vases, as well. On the tops of vases, orchids, phalenopsis, and cymbidiums can add a stunning touch.
You can find leaves in a garden, backyard, or any flower shop -- the amount of varieties is seemingly endless. It's very easy; you need only to practice to do it properly.
Thanks to New York City floral designer Oscar Mora for sharing this information, and showing a lovely Valentine's Day Arrangement.
